A spacious, lonely polska after ‘Gällsbo’ Jonas Olsson (1891–1967), from Hälsingland in east-central Sweden. This evokes the magic of gliding on a barn dancefloor with the midsummer light at its low point. Here we play it freely, at a speed that might finally turn the dancers towards bed.

So pleased to see your second album on its way. I’ve just about worn a hole in your first CD because I love it so much. Cannae wait due the whole thing to appear on 4th May. The taster track is AWESOME!! 🙏 floradouglas

Love the complexity of this track and the rising and falling of the violins, and the texture. Makes me want to dance.
Thank you so much for this album. I really love it, and find it really inspiring my own work on the Witchcraft Trials ❤️ tararosehip
